Product Introduction
An Indoor Breakout Tight Buffer Optical Cable is a specialized fiber optic cable designed for easy and direct termination, commonly used in data centers, enterprise networks (LANs), and for bringing fiber directly to a desktop or equipment.
How It Is Constructed
✔ The unique construction of this cable makes it stand out. Instead of a single jacket containing many fibers, it features a "cable within a cable" design.
✔ Tight Buffer Coating: Each individual glass fiber is coated with a 0.9mm layer of plastic (typically LSZH) in a process called tight buffering. This provides excellent protection against crush and impact forces, which is essential for indoor handling.
✔ Individual Subunits (Mini-Cables): Each tight-buffered fiber is then wrapped with strong aramid yarn (for strength) and encased in its own colored inner jacket, typically 2.0mm in diameter. This creates a standalone, connector-ready subunit.
✔ Central Core & Outer Jacket: These individual subunits are stranded around a central strength member to provide structural support. Finally, the entire bundle is encased in a rugged outer jacket, often made of LSZH or PVC.
Application
✔ FTTH;
✔ Outdoor FTTX Solution;
✔ Harsh Environment.
Cable Structure
Choose Indoor Breakout Tight Buffer Cable if you need a rugged, direct-connect solution with a low fiber count (under 24 strands) where ease of termination is your top priority.
